1. The Reference’s Role
South Jordan Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to South Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah, library, archive, court, election, property, and historical sources. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with any office, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Lawful Use
Use the reference and anything reached through it only for lawful purposes. You may not use it to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit fraud or identity theft.
- Make a decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including credit, employment, tenant, housing, or insurance decisions.
- Scrape, republish, or copy pages at scale.
- Interfere with the site’s operation or security.
3. FCRA Status
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Material here, and results from linked tools, are not consumer reports and may not be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Outside Links
Links may lead to South Jordan City, Salt Lake County, Utah Courts, Utah Elections, health offices, libraries, archives, and sponsored search providers. Each outside service sets its own terms, availability, pricing, and data practices. The operator does not control those services.
5. No Warranties
The reference is supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty promises that a page, record description, fee, coverage date, link, or search result is complete, accurate, current, or uninterrupted.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of this reference, its links, or decisions made from a record reached through it.
7. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, losses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the reference or violation of these terms.
8. Copyright and Linking
The original writing, logo, design, and layout are protected by copyright. Ordinary linking and short attributed quotations are welcome. Full-page republication and systematic copying are not permitted.
9. Changes
New terms may be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means that the revised terms are accepted.
10. Access Restrictions
The operator may block or limit access, without notice, when a user violates these terms, abuses a search tool, threatens people, or harms site security.
11. Utah Law
These terms are governed by Utah law without applying conflict-of-law principles. The public-record references on the pages point to Utah’s Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2. That statute controls public-record access and classifications at the custodian, not the operator.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contact page.
